Launch of the forthcoming exhibition 'The Human Fabric' by Robert Smith at Cwtsh Community and Arts Centre, 226 Stow Hill Newport NP20 4HA. This is a photographic investigation of the British Nylon Spinners site at Mamhilad near Pontypool which was built as a high-tech facility for the production of nylon thread. Large scale works from the project were shown at the prestigious Diffusion Festival in Cardiff in 2017. Cwtsh is now proud to present smaller works from the same project in Newport. The launch takes place on Sunday February 4th, 2-4 pm. Refreshments provided, free admission, disabled access. All welcome.
